Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026. This policy is short because we collect almost nothing.

The short version

• Your invoices are created entirely in your browser. The invoice data you type — your details, your client's details, line items, notes — is never sent to our server.
• We use no analytics, no tracking scripts, and no cookies.
• There is no account and no sign-up, so we cannot identify you.

Data stored on your device

So you don't have to retype everything, the generator saves your invoice (business details, client details, line items, notes, and the invoice number) in your browser's localStorage. That storage lives only on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can erase it at any time with the "Clear invoice" button or by clearing your browser's site data. Because it stays on the device, we recommend not using the tool on shared or public computers.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our web server keeps standard access logs (your IP address, browser user-agent, and the time of the request) for security and reliability purposes — for example to block abusive traffic. These logs never contain any invoice content, are not used for marketing or profiling, and are rotated automatically.

External links and affiliate disclosure

The site contains a small number of outbound links, such as a donation link (Buy Me a Coffee) and a partner link to a payments provider. The partner link is an affiliate link: if you sign up through it, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Once you leave this site, the destination's own privacy policy applies. We send no personal data to these sites, and our pages instruct your browser not to send a referrer.

Advertising (not yet active)

We currently show no advertising. If we introduce ads in the future (for example through Google AdSense), ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies, and we will update this policy beforehand with the provider's name, what they collect, and how to opt out — and add a consent banner where the law requires one.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete — the data is on your device, under your control. If you believe we hold any personal data about you (for example in server logs), you can contact us and we will help.
